Professor Dominick was born in the Republic of Haiti, and has been a disciple of martial arts for over 30 years. She started training in Tae Kwon Do at the suggestion of her late father to help control her temper. Under the watchful eyes of Grandmaster David L. Herbert, she has earned Master level black belts in three styles — Jujitsu, Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do.
Professor Dominick is the first woman to hold the title of “Professor” under Grandmaster Bill McCloud and Soke Lil John Davis. She is also the first Haitian woman to hold master-level rank in the Korean art of TaeKwonDo and HapKiDo. In mastering the martial arts as a Black woman, accomplished author, and business owner, Professor Dominick has had to defy the odds, shatter the expectations, and overcome the extreme improbabilities of success, thereby breaking the proverbial glass ceiling in the world of martial arts. Professor Dominick is honored to be the Vice-President of the Women Martial Arts Network, sharing the goal of unifying, elevating, educating and empowering woman globally.
